"There's no doubt in my mind that maybe two years from now or five years from now or ten years from now, we are going to find out what we know intuitively, that thimerosal, the mercury in the vaccines, absolutely causes autism and other learning disabilities." -- Robert F. Kennedy, Jr.
"Keeping your body healthy is an expression of gratitude to the whole cosmos - the trees, the clouds, everything."
-Thich Nhat Hanh
"We are indeed much more than what we eat, but what we eat can nevertheless help us to be much more than what we are."
-Adelle Davis
"The body, simply put, can heal itself of nearly all chronic degenerative diseases or conditions in much the same way it heals a cut or a sprain. The human body is a self-repairing system, after all. What you have to do is give it the right nutritional tools so it can unleash its fullest healing potential. And that comes from natural medicines found in the world of nutrition."
-Mike Adams
"Therefore, I urge you, brothers, in view of God's mercy, to offer your bodies as living sacrifices, holy and pleasing to God--this is your spiritual act of worship."
Romans 12:1, NIV

YES. Great quote! It makes me think of Mexico ... I'm not sure about the cookies but come afternoon you'd see people curled up in the shade having a siesta, shop doors locked. There oughta be a law. :)
I'm with ya, babe. Daily siestas sound like heaven to me!
yes it certainly would be!!! we do that in India anyways. lol inspite of office and work! infact i would rebel when my mom would make me go to sleep in the afternoon when i was like.. 18!!! now i wish i had that. Life in the States is GO GO GO GO!
I thought that was very strange when I was there, but quickly decided it was something I could get used to! :-)
Now that I have kids, I LONG for a nap in the afternoon that seldom materializes. Funny how the rest of the day just goes better when I get one, though!
